1998.07-2000.11:中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所,任副研究员、研究员。研究组负责人,青年科学家创新小组负责人;

2000.11-2008.12:美国University of Iowa高级访问学者。出国期间因研究所合并重组,辞去中科院遗传与发育生物学研究所研究员职位并获得批准;

六、科研成果

陈吉龙教授长期从事兽医微生物与兽医免疫学、兽医传染病领域科研和教学工作,任国家“973”计划项目首席科学家(2015-2019),先后主持国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家重点研发计划课题、国家“973”计划项目、国家“863”计划课题、国家科技支撑课题等20多个国家级项目;在国内外重要学术刊物上发表论文120多篇,包括以第一作者或通讯作者在国际核心学术刊物Cell Host & MicrobeLancetThe Lancet Infectious DiseasesPNASNucleic Acids ResearchmBioBloodPLoS PathogensCancer ResearchCell ReportsOncogeneJournal of Virology等杂志上发表90多篇SCI论文;获授权发明专利12项;获得福建省自然科学奖二等奖1项(排名第一)、中国侨联中国侨界贡献奖二等奖1项(个人奖)、大北农科技奖创新奖二等奖1项(排名第一)、福建省教学成果特等奖1项(排名第三)、福建省五一先锋号等多项奖励;多次应邀在国际会议上做学术报告或主持会议,得到国际同行的高度认可。
